PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution of a seedling guide capable of guiding a seedling to a planting device, holding the seedling until receiving operation of the seedling is carried out and performing the receiving operation of the seedling in a stable state in order to prevent a mistake in receiving the seedling in a vegetable transplanter. SOLUTION: This vegetable transplanter is equipped with a planting frame 47 supporting the planting device 31 so as to movable to the front and rear relatively to an operating frame 33 composed so as to be vertically liftable and lowerable relatively to the traveling machine body 2 and the operating frame 33 is provided with a nearly trough type seedling guide 80 for guiding the seedling to a receiving position of the seedling. Furthermore, a seedling stopper 168 for regulating the downward movement of the seedling is installed under the seedling guide 80. The seedling stopper 168 is composed of a flexible material and arranged in a position in contact with a planting claw 87 installed in the planting device 31.
