PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid object sewing system and method capable of eliminating manual work, stabilizing quality and improving productivity in a sewing process to form a fabric material into a solid. SOLUTION: The solid object sewing system to form a solid object has a sewing machine body, a table on which a work material is set, and a work material fixing means provided on the table. The system also comprises a work forming device in which the fixing means is formed into a shape following a seam at which the work material is joined and a solid object forming device 20 comprised of a sewing machine body 21, a table 22 on which a fabric material is set, a movable fabric feed means 27a projecting from the top face of the table, a regulating means 28 having a holding section 28a drawing near or moving away the seam allowance of the fabric material under a sewing needle, and a supporting means 29 supporting the fabric material from the opposite direction of the direction of progress of sewing.
