PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel seat having a sufficient rigidity and bending strength regardless of the quality of the material. SOLUTION: A built-up part 41 is formed on a reel mounting face 35 along the axis direction of the reel seat 20. The built-up part 41 has a shape of a protruding bar, and the outside surface 42 of the built-up part 41 is formed in a circular-arc. The height (t2-t1) of the built-up part 41 from the reel mounting surface 35 is 0.5-2 mm, and the radius of curvature of the outside surface 42 is 5-15 mm.
