PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form clear decorative grooves on a trim cover comprising a skin having rigidity or elasticity such as a natural leather or an artificial leather, a wadding made of an expanded body, and a backing fabric. SOLUTION: The skin (3) is closely joined in a lower die (1) by sucking the skin (3) into the lower die (1) by a vacuumizing device. While keeping the closely joined state by the vacuumizing device, block-form waddings (4A), (4B) and so forth are housed in the lower die (1). Then, the backing fabric (5) is bonded with an adhesive (6).
