PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage storage apparatus capable of improving the work efficiency and made miniaturized and a garbage treatment method using the apparatus. SOLUTION: The garbage storage apparatus 1 comprises a container 2 having a throwing inlet 4 to throw garbage through and a crushing apparatus 7 for crushing garbage thrown through the throwing inlet 4 and the container 2 has an insertion inlet 13 for inserting a suction hose of a vacuum vehicle. In this case, when garbage is thrown through the throwing inlet 4 of the container 2, the garbage is crushed by the crushing apparatus 7 and stored in the container 2. Garbage is crushed and made fine by the crushing apparatus 7 and generally contains a large quantity of water. Therefore, the garbage can be easily sucked by the suction hose of the vacuum vehicle. No stirring treatment is carried out in the garbage storage apparatus 1. Consequently, no stirring mechanism is required to be installed in the storage apparatus 1. |
