PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electromagnetically the leakage of a molten metal in a continuous casting device for continuously casting a band plate by supplying the molten plate between a pair of cooling rolls. SOLUTION: In the continuous casting device compressing a pair of cooling rolls disposed parallel with each other and horizontally, and rotates in the reverse direction to each other so that the opposing outer peripheral faces descend respectively, a pair of insulation plates 5 disposed on both sides in the axial direction of the cooling rolls 1, 2 so as not to come into contact with the cooling rolls 1, 2, and a pair of electromagnet 4 having a core 4a and an AC coil 4b disposed on the outside of the insulation plates 5, a magnetic field in the vertical direction having an inclination of a magnetic flux density in the vertical direction is generated by making appropriate the shape of the core 4a, and by this magnetic field, the molten metal supplied between the cooling rolls 1, 2 is prevented from leaking from a clearance G between the cooling rolls 1, 2 and the insulation plate 5.
