PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish washer which does not sound an alarm from an alarming means such as a buzzer, etc., in a variety of timing such as switching, finishing a series of washing, rinsing, and drying conventionally impossible. SOLUTION: This dish washier is equipped with a control means to execute a series of processes of washing, rinsing, drying, etc., of dishes, a switch inputting means to input signals from a switch to carry out setting, etc., of a washing course, and an alarm sound means to sound an alarm at a stage of switch inputting, washing finishing, throwing-in a finishing agent, etc. Whether an alarm sound is to be generated from the alarm sound generating means or not can be set at least one timing to emit the alarm sound.
