PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a uracil thymine dehydrogenase, and further to provide a method for stably producing the uracil thymine dehydrogenase from microorganisms. SOLUTION: This uracil thymine dehydrogenase has specific physicochemical properties. The method for producing the enzyme comprises culturing the microorganisms having abilities of producing the enzyme, and collecting the enzyme from the culture product.
