PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply removing not only a magnetic inclusion but also a non-magnetic coarse inclusion. SOLUTION: The method comprises a drying step for conducting a drying treatment of the treated ash, a magnetic screening step for removing the magnetic inclusion from the treated ash that has been subjected to the drying treatment in the drying step, a coarse non-magnetic inclusion removal step for introducing the treated ash in the magnetic screening step into a vertical duct 28 which guides the ash downward and preventing the downward transfer of the coarse inclusion having a predetermined size or more among the inclusions included in the treated ash by an inclined screen 29 installed in the vertical duct 28, and thereby discharging the trapped coarse inclusions outside the vertical duct 28 by sliding it down on the inclined screen 29.
