PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bag filter for removing an organochlorine compound having sufficient capacity for decomposing the organochlorine compound at 170-210 deg.C while sufficiently holding the heat resistance of the bag filter, and a method for removing the organochlorine compound using the bag filter. SOLUTION: The bag filter for removing the organochlorine compound has a catalyst based on chromium supported thereon. The method for removing the organochlorine compound using the bag filter is also disclosed.
