PURPOSE: A rear height adjusting apparatus for a truck is provided to prevent contact of a vehicle body and the ground by automatically adjusting the rear height with a leveling valve during traveling and to improve convenience by adjusting the height of a rear deck automatically with a control valve in parking or stopping. CONSTITUTION: A rear height adjuster of a truck is composed of an air tank(1) storing compressed air; an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(4) detecting travel or stop state of the vehicle according to signals from a vehicle speed sensor(2) and a parking brake sensor(3); a solenoid valve(5), a control valve(6), a leveling valve(7) and an air operating valve(8) installed in pipes(11,12,13,14) connected with the air tank, and opened and closed with control signals from the ECU according to the state of the vehicle; and an air spring(9) receiving compressed air from the air tank and adjusting the rear height with lifting up and down the rear body of the vehicle. Driving experience is improved with adjusting the rear height of the vehicle by the leveling valve during traveling, and convenience is improved with automatically adjusting the height of the rear deck according to load in parking or stopping.
