PURPOSE: An apparatus for remote controlling mold clamper for continuous casting machine is provided to reduce working man-hour according to width variation of mold by controlling operating process of the mold clamper through remote control. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for remote controlling mold clamper for continuous casting machine comprises a housing(10) to which front, middle and rear bodies(11,12,13) are bolted to form an external appearance, in the inner space of which first, second and third space parts(14,15,16) are formed, and on the circumferential surface of which first, second and third injection ports(17,18,19) are formed; a turning rod(20) on the circumferential surface of which first and second screw parts(21,22) received into the first and second space parts(14,15) and a spline part(23) received into the third space part(16) are formed as the turning rod(20) is being inserted into the central part of the body of the housing(10), and at one end part of which a connection groove(25) is formed; first piston(30) that is mounted on the first screw part(21) to move the first space part(14) back and forth through oil transferred from the first and second injection ports(17,18); second piston(40) which is mounted on the second screw part(22) by means of a guide(41) to move the second space part(15) back and forth through oil transferred from the third injection port(19); a worm driving part(50) connected to a worm gear(51) inserted into the spline part(23) through a worm(52) to transmit rotary power of a motor to the turning rod(20); an instrument(70) for sensing moving of the turning rod(20) through a tip end(71) inserted into the connection groove(25); and a control part for outputting switching signals to hydraulic direction conversion valves respectively installed at an oil inflow path of the first, second and third injection ports(17,18,19) by receiving signals of the instrument(70).
