METHOD FOR SENDING AND RECEIVING MULTIMEDIA CALL BETWEEN MOBILE SUBSCRIBERS IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PURPOSE: A method for sensing and receiving a multimedia call between mobile subscribers in a mobile communication network is provided to realize a multimedia call service without constructing extra circuit network elements. CONSTITUTION: The first mobile station and the second mobile station register mobility at the first SGSN(Serving GPRS Support Node) and the second SGSN(S100). The first SGSN and the first GGSN(Gateway GPRS Support Node) connect a logical path between the first mobile station and the first GGSN(S200). The first mobile station transmits a call setup protocol initial message to the first GGSN(S300). The first GGSN transmits the call setup protocol initial message to the corresponding second GGSN(S400). The second SGSN reports the existence of data to be transmitted to the second mobile station(S500). The second SGSN and the second GGSN connect a logical path between the second mobile station and the second GGSN(S600). The second GGSN reports multimedia call incoming to the second mobile station(S700). The first mobile station and the second mobile station transmit multimedia data each other(S800).
