PURPOSE: A single-board-type optical system is provided to reduce the size of the system by combining a reflective LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel with a polygon reflector and color separation mirrors to construct an optical system. CONSTITUTION: A light source(201) emits an unpolarized light. A PBS(Polarized Beam Splitter) array(203) polarizes the unpolarized light emitted from the light source(201) into a specific wave. Color separation mirrors(204) are arranged on a light path of the PBS array(203) in a different angle to divide the light polarized and outputted from the PBS array(203) into R(red), G(Green), B(Blue) lights and change the light path. A polygon reflector(205) is arranged on a light path of the color separation mirrors(204) and scan sequentially the R,G,B lights divided from the color separation mirrors(204) by rotation. An LCD panel(206) receives the R,G,B lights of the specific wave from the polygon reflector(205) to form an image and reflects it in order to display.
