PURPOSE: To provide an accommodation apparatus for facilitating the mounting, replacement, operation, and wiring of communication equipment such as a media convertor, a power supply unit, or the like. CONSTITUTION: The accommodation apparatus can accommodate a plurality of pieces of communication equipment that are connected to a transmission medium. The apparatus has a support section that is fixed to an external frame, and a mounting section that accommodates the communication equipment removably and can move to the support section. The mounting section has a first surface and a second surface that differs from the first one. The transmission medium can be connected to the communication equipment via the first and second surfaces at the mounting section.
