PURPOSE: An apparatus for modulating voices into various types of sound is provided to realize various types of modulation with one chip, and modulate the voices in real time by removing delay and shortening of time generated in modulating the voices. CONSTITUTION: A codec(12) converts an analog voice into digital voice, or converts the modulated digital voice into the analog voice. An operation part(11) compresses the converted digital signals in a time axis, repeats periodical data as much as shortened time by detecting a period of the voice to compensate the shortened length of frames, so that the operation part compensates the shortened time by maintaining the length of the total frames, and outputs the frame signals as analog signals through the codec. A memory(13) temporarily stores data generated in the operation of the operation part, and records a logic order of the operation.
