PURPOSE: Equipment for forming glass bulbs is provided, which is characterized in that liquefied glass is solidified into a bulb shape with a structure capable of rotating lens-forming mold. Accordingly, the circumference of the bulb is smooth, resulting in high reflexivity of light. CONSTITUTION: The equipment for forming glass bulbs contains the parts of: a lens-forming mold, fixed on a rotary table, having a concave groove for forming lens; a first and a second reflective side-forming mold(109, 111), facing each other and coming together centering around a hinge(112), having the first and second reflective side-forming grooves(108, 110). The glass bulb is formed into a shape corresponding to the space between lens-forming groove, and the first and second reflective side-forming grooves. In forming, the liquefied glass is solidified into a bulb shape with a structure capable of rotating lens-forming mold, which results in slip between the reflective side of formed bulb and the first and second reflective side-forming grooves for smooth surfaced bulbs.
