FIELD: animal science. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with feeding dogs at the period of their growth. The method is characterized by the fact that the main diet of canine youngsters is supplemented with fodder additive out of velvet antlers' oil cake (wastes of pantocrine production) daily, beginning from the age of 2 mo, moreover, for 2-6-mo-aged youngsters - at the dosage of 0.5-1.5 g/dog, and for 6-12-mo-aged - at the dosage of 1.5-2.5 g/dog.
