PURPOSE: A pulsator type drying and washing machine is provided to reduce the entire height of the drying and washing machine by reducing the height difference between an inner door and an inner cover while keeping them in tight contact. CONSTITUTION: A pulsator type drying and washing machine includes an inner cover(3a) formed with an opening in the center for inserting clothing, an inner door(3b) mounted to the inner cover to open or close the opening of the inner cover, and a sealing element(110) located between the inner cover and the inner door. The inner door is closely secured to the inner cover when closing the opening. The sealing element keeps the tight contact between the inner cover and the inner door when the inner door is closed and reduces the difference in the height of the inner cover and the inner door. A blowing duct is connected to the inner cover and incorporates a blower fan and a heater for supplying heated air into an inner tub.
