PURPOSE: A rake receiver is provided to make the rake receiver of a wireless communication terminal modem best fitted to a W-CDMA standard by compensating multiple path difference by base stations in the first couplers and compensating time difference of firstly coupled output signals in the second coupler. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of fingers(21A-21F) continuously maintain synchronization to changing receiving signals by using a PN(Pseudo Noise) code tracking loop. A plurality of first couplers(23A-23C) receive output signals of the fingers(21A-21F) through a plurality of buffers(22A-22F) for compensating multiple path difference by base stations and coupling the signals. A plurality of the first path compensation controllers(24A-24C) control multiple path difference compensation of the first couplers(23A-23C). The second coupler(26) receives output signals of the first couplers(23A-23C) through buffers(25A-25C) for compensating time difference of the firstly coupled signals and coupling the signals to output the final demodulation signal. The second path compensation controller(27) controls multiple path difference compensation of the second coupler(26). |
