FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed drive contains driving and driven sprockets over which endless flexible member is passed. Said flexible member consists of thin perforated steel bends with holes in their middle part and solid steel band enclosing pack of perforated bands, thus formed. Perforated band holes are made in form of rectangles. Perforated bands are placed one on the other with intermediate steel gaskets placed between perforated bands. Thickness of said gaskets is less than that of perforated bands. Pack of bands and gaskets, thus formed, is connected in places of crossmembers, for instance, by resistance welding. Tooth formed by crossmembers and gaskets can have involute profile of meshing, and perforated bands can be provided with multirow holes. EFFECT: improved pulling capacity of flexible member. 5 dwg
