<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform tracking by updating a target based on a peak within an update target estimation range and a pair of tentative peaks including a pair of virtual peaks when a pair of tentative peaks for satisfying a definite discrimination conditions are not present. SOLUTION: In a microprocessor where a beat signal from the transmission/ reception wave of a radar head is supplied, a spectrum is extracted from beat signal data by a frequency analysis processor. Then, in a target recognizer 52, a peak frequency detector 521 detects each section peak frequency according to the up/down section spectrum of a triangular wave. A tentative peak pair detector 523 searches a down search range for the minimum frequency peak of a peak being that has not been searched in an up section and obtains the tentative peak pair. When a pair for satisfying discrimination conditions does not exist in the tentative peak pair, and exists in a peak that may have a peak within the estimation range of a target to be updated and a virtual peak for making a pair, the tentative peak pair including the peak is estimated, and estimation temporary peak pair is updated as a definite target.</p> |
