PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight fishing rod having a prescribed strength and a good coating surface by maintaining reinforcing fibers in a non-damaged finishing state. CONSTITUTION:The fishing rod is characterized in that exposed parts of an exposed resin 3 and the exposed parts of reinforcing fibers 2 exist on the surface of the rubbed raw material 5 of a fishing rod and that the reinforcing fibers 2 are maintained in a continuous state in the oriented direction over almost all length of the fishing rod and are projected from the surface of the resin. |
