PURPOSE: A method and a system for transmitting mass data are provided to transmit files in even case that a receiving part is not on-line and receive data only if a receiver wants to receive the data. CONSTITUTION: If a transmitter attaches a file to an e-mail message, a data transmitting IMA(Intelligent Mobile Agent) uploads the file to a file server(S210). The data transmitting IMA transmits a data receiving IMA including an ID, a password, and information related to the file to an e-mail system(S220). A receiver requests for an e-mail by connecting to the e-mail system(S230). The e-mail system transmits the e-mail to a receiving client(S240). The receiver drives the data receiving IMA so that the data receiving IMA requests the file server for the file(S250). The file server transmits the corresponding file to the receiving client(S260). |
