PURPOSE: A drive shaft with traction structure of 4-wheel drive vehicle is provided to improve traction of the vehicle in case of being towed. CONSTITUTION: A drive shaft with traction structure of 4-wheel drive vehicle comprises a front shaft(10) with an insertion portion(11) forming a groove(11') at an end; a rear shaft(20) having a housing portion housing the insertion portion of the front shaft and forming an inner peripheral gear(21'); a power transmission/control device(30) movably mounted in the groove of the insertion portion. The rear shaft is rotatably coupled independently of the front shaft. The power transmission/control device transmits rotational force to the rear shaft, with engaged with the inner peripheral gear of the rear shaft, if the front shaft rotates and doesn't transmit rotational force to the rear shaft, if the rear shaft rotates.
