METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING WIRELESS SIGNAL IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for monitoring a wireless signal in a wireless communication system are provided to easily measure a signal waveform and a power about an input signal and an output signal of a transceiver without a measurement equipment with a high price. CONSTITUTION: A signal extracting unit(10) extracts a signal of a band which a user wishes for monitoring among signals from a base station system. A signal power measuring unit(20) detects a power level from the signal extracted by the signal extracting unit(10). An A/D converting unit(30) converts an analog signal outputted from the signal power measuring unit(20) into a digital signal. A key input unit(40) inputs the band of the signal which the user wishes for monitoring and sets a desired processing method. A signal processing control unit(50) processes the signal outputted from the A/D converting unit(30) according to the signal band and the processing method inputted through the key input unit(40). A display unit(60) displays contents processed in the signal processing control unit(50). A communication unit(70) transmits the monitored result of the signal band to an other system using a communication line.
