PURPOSE: A device for controlling an automatic door is provided to configure a transceiving unit using infrared rays or microwave in a microprocessor arranged inside a controller, so as to transceive signals using an external wireless remote controller to change data of EEPROM(Electrical Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory) or change a program of an automatic door operating algorithm. CONSTITUTION: An infrared transceiving unit(6) configured in a microprocessor(2) acts as an antenna for transmitting infrared rays or microwave, in order to transceive data with an external, instead of an existing switch or variable resistance. Data received from the infrared transceiving unit(6) are stored in an EEPROM(5) configured in a circuit. The microprocessor(2) controls a motor controller to open and close a door based on the received data. Accordingly, when newly installing an automatic door or repairing an automatic door in a building, works are performed through infrared rays or microwave at a close range without stopping the automatic door and adhering to time.
