发明名称 METHOD FOR FABRICATING NUTRIENT ADSORBENT AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING ALGAL BLOOM AND RED TIDE USING THE SAME THROUGH ALTERNATE MAGNETIC FORCE OF ELECTROMAGNET
摘要 PURPOSE: A system for controlling algal bloom and red tide using alternate magnetic force of electromagnet is provided, in which a pellet containing adsorbent and magnetite is inserted in two parallel partition walls of electromagnets that are submerged into water to adsorb nitrogen and phosphorus causing eutrophication. CONSTITUTION: The method for fabricating a nutrient adsorbent powder comprises the steps of mixing (a) 30 to 85 wt.% of synthesized or natural zeolite, (b) 45 to 85 wt.% of activated carbon having a surface area of 800 to 1300 cm¬2/g, (c) 5 to 45 wt.% of magnesite (Fe3O4), (d) 20 to 75 wt.% of loess, (e) 5 to 25 wt.% of calcium hydroxide or calcium carbonate, (f) 5 to 30 wt.% of magnesium oxide or magnesium hydroxide, (g) 2 to 10 wt.% of bentonite or kaolin; granulating the admixture into a granule size of 0.5 mm to 2 cm; drying the prepared granule at 100 deg.C; and calcining the granule at 500 deg.C for 90 minutes under inert condition. The system is characterized in that granules(3) are located between two electromagnetic plates(4), and then electric force is applied to the electromagnetic plates at a fixed interval to increase migration distance of the granules, thereby increasing contact time of the granules serving as nutrient adsorbent and nutrients in water.
