PURPOSE: An inverter of a liquid crystal display is provided to control the brightness of a fluorescent lamp uniformly even in a high discharge voltage state of the fluorescent lamp and effectively remove electromagnetic waves caused by the high voltage. CONSTITUTION: An inverter of a liquid crystal display includes a boosting transformer(1) composed of the primary coil(PW1) connected to input power, the secondary coil(SW1) connected to a light source(4) and an inductive ballast condenser connected with the secondary coil. A middle tap of the secondary coil is grounded and the inductive ballast condenser is connected to an input port of the light source.
