PURPOSE: To provide a noise suppressor for an air conditioner, which prevents a refrigerating cycle from being badly influenced. CONSTITUTION: The refrigerating cycle is provided with an indoor side heat exchanger, an outdoor side heat exchanger, a four-way valve, and a throttling device 24. The refrigerating cycle is also provided with a filter 22 in which a single metal wire or a non-cut-off stranded wire is compressed, so as to reduce noise generated by the throttling device 24.
