The system includes two actuators (20, 21), power supply having two terminals (1, 6), and series of switches (14 to 19). At least one switch is placed between one terminal of power supply and common point between two supply terminals (20b, 21b) from two different actuators. First switch (16) is placed between supply terminal (20b) of actuator (20) and first terminal (1). Second switch (17) is placed between supply terminal of actuator and other terminal (6) of power supply. System also includes prohibition system to avoid that both switches are on simultaneously. An Independent claim is also included for the method for controlling an automated gearbox.
