PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient power supply control for a device connected to a network with a bus line such as the IEEE1394 method so that the occurrence of unnecessary bus reset is prevented. SOLUTION: In a device 100 connectable with other devices through a digital communication bus that can transmit digital data, a section processing communication through a digital communication bus 11 is made to be able to stay on inactive status so that, when the device 100 is turned ON, a bus reset would not occur on the network to which the device is connected. |
