PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify manufacturing processes and thereby reduce the manufacturing cost by reducing the size of an optical receiving module that a photo detector, a pre-amplifier, and a bypass capacitor are mounted in a package. SOLUTION: A parallel-plate capacitor is installed at the center of a package, and a photo detector chip is placed and fixed on the capacitor. Since the capacitor and the photo detector are laid on top each other, an installation area of the photo detector can be reduced. No required space for the capacitor can simplify processes and reduce the number of components, realizing a small-size optical receiving module. |
