PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode plate for use in a lead storage battery of an excellent life property that prevents a lowering of capacity in early stage due to a lowering of bonding capacity between an active material and a grid, and controls a lowering of capacity due to softening of the active material. SOLUTION: This positive electrode plate for use in the lead storage battery utilizes paste, which is obtained by kneading red lead, lead powder made of a Pb-Sb alloy, water and sulfuric acid as a main component, and a lead alloy containing tin of 1.2 wt.% or more as a positive electrode grid. It is characterized in that the red lead is contained by 5-60% per the positive electrode active material weight and the lead powder contains Sb of 0.005-0.1% based on the lead weight in the positive electrode active material. |
