IC CARD SYSTEM WITH CPU, CARD ISSUING MACHINE, AND READER DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card system with CPU preventing illegal use by preventing the decryption of an IC card with the CPU. SOLUTION: This IC card system with the CPU is characterized in having a card issuing machine issuing the IC card with the CPU using the IC card with the CPU set with a direct reading impossible region and a directly readable region and storing a password and value information in the impossible region; and a reader performing transaction, when the IC card with the CPU is inserted into the reader, and the password and the value information inputted from the outside is collated with the prewritten password and value information in the direct reading impossible region and accorded therewith. This method can prevent the decrystion of the contents of the card so as to prevent the illegal use of the card.
