PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content encrypting/decrypting system, which establishes understanding for copyright and convenience for users. SOLUTION: This invention provides solutions for existing problems in encryption of copyright protected information such as distribution contents, by preparing a key for use in the encryption based on an account or a card to which the charge for the content purchase is collected, and by means of securing usage environment at a terminal by which the same account or the same card is registered as the charge collection destination.
