PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment, an electronic equipment system, and a control method for power supply to a device which enable the electronic equipment to stably automatically recognize and initialize the electronic device or a device connected through an interface. SOLUTION: In a register 51 that an EC 19 has, a BIOS 52 writes information 53 on whether the device is supplied with electric power (ON/OFF) and timing information 54 on power supply. Power supply timing information 54 indicates the timing of power supply to the device. The EC 19 controls switches 41 to 48 provided between the equipment and respective devices according to the information written to the register 51.
