<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peripheral device having a centralized control server constituted for controlling a plurality of peripheral devices connected to a network. SOLUTION: This peripheral device is connected to the network, and includes a device control controller capable of respectively determining which peripheral device executes the control function for all the peripheral devices. A selected peripheral device has a device control server placeable in an enable state so as to function as the centralized control server. A default URL of a web server of an unselected peripheral device is set so as to coincide with a URL of a web server of the selected peripheral device. A user can turn a passage to a centralized control device even when making access to any peripheral device. The peripheral device can be formed as a printer for forming a dispersive printing system controlled by one printer. A system, a method, and a computer program are disclosed for controlling the peripheral devices on the network.</p> |
