RELAYING METHOD OF MULTIHOP NETWORK AND WIRELESS NODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relaying method of a multihop network using multiple network interfaces at and below an IP layer and capable of multihopping fast, and a wireless node. SOLUTION: The relaying method of a multihop network is characterized in that a WM (wireless middleware) layer is introduced between the IP layer and a MAC layer of the wireless node; the WM layer having a routing table for managing destination addresses, addresses of relay nodes and sending ports; a WM header of a received packet being analyzed at the WM layer; the packet being relayed to the IP layer when it is addressed to the node itself, and the packet being relayed via a network interface selected based on the routing table when it is addressed to another node.
