PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position information service server, which can select a mode of notifying the arbitrary addressee of the position information of an addresser, a mode of notifying a specified addressee of it, and a mode of notifying no one of them, based on the intention of the addresser, and to provide a communication terminal, mobile radio communication terminal, position information service method, and program. SOLUTION: This position information service server is equipped with an information mode acquisition means 403, which acquires any one notification mode among the above modes from a mobile radio communication terminal, a position information acquisition means which acquires the position information to show where the mobile radio communication terminal is, based on the signal for specifying the mobile radio communication terminal transmitted from the mobile radio communication terminal, and a transmission and reception means on position information server side which transmits the position information acquired by the position information acquisition means to a communication terminal, according to the information mode acquired by the information mode acquisition means. |
