PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser module wherein an optical element like an etalon can be fixed by using solder of high reliability in such state that a laser is oscillated, and to provide a manufacturing method of the laser module. SOLUTION: The laser module is provided with a first temperature control element (5) having a pair of input terminals (18, 19) in which a temperature control signal is inputted and a pair of electrode terminals (5A, 5B), a second temperature control element (6) having a laser (1) mounted on the first temperature control element and a pair of electrode terminals (6A, 6B), and a wavelength discriminating element (7) which is mounted on the second temperature control element by using metal solder and receives a light outputted from the laser. The first and second temperature control elements (5, 6) are connected in series or parallel with a pair of the input terminals (18, 19), via the respective electrode terminals (5A, 5B, 6A, 6B).
