PURPOSE: Provided are a coating agent for absorbing radiant heat, which improves the cooling velocity of crystals by absorbing rapidly the heat radiated from a silicone ingot when growing crystals, and a device for cooling the radiant heat and an apparatus for growing the silicone single crystal ingot by using the coating agent. CONSTITUTION: The coating agent is produced by stirring and mixing 10-15wt% of silica, 5-10wt% of graphite, and 75-85wt% of IPA. And the apparatus for growing the silicon single crystal ingot contains a quartz crucible(12), a heater(14), an ingot pulling device(16), a heat shield(18) for keeping the fixed temperature-distribution of a solid-liquid interface, and the radiant heat cooling device for cooling the growing silicone ingot(22) by absorbing the heat radiated from the silicone ingot(22), wherein the radiant heat cooling device contains a circulation type cooling pipe(20) made of stainless steel and a radiant heat absorbing layer(24) coated on the cooling pipe(20) and formed by spreading the coating agent and drying.
