PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that image matching in conformity with human image recognition is difficult. SOLUTION: An image transformation part 14 transforms an input original image into an image of dual space by radon transformation. A peak detecting part 16 finds a higher order differential as to a pixel value of the transformed image to detect a peak distribution. An index generating part 18 generates information about the detected peak distribution as indexes of the original image, and stores it correlated to the original image in an image database 24. A matching processing part 20 compares the indexes prepared by this manner to match the image. |
