PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing signal processing apparatus that can accurately obtain an average level of each pulse for one reference period without erroneously recognizing a noise to be a pulse signal even when an accidental single shot noise is produced in a reproducing signal if the number of pulses in the reproducing signal is a prescribed number within the reference period. SOLUTION: The reproducing signal processing apparatus is provided with an AND circuit 15 that ANDs an output signal from a comparator circuit 2 and an output signal of a monostable multivibrator circuit 4 for generating a sample-and-hold acquisition time as a pulse detection means so as to detect each pulse in the reproducing signal without detecting an accidental single shot noise as a pulse. Further, a digital comparator circuit 16 determine whether or not the number of pulses in the reproducing signal detected by the pulse detection means is a prescribed number.
