<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core which supports an elastically shrinkable tube in an expanded state without causing damages to the tube and can be smoothly removed from within the elastically shrinkable tube at the time of sealing, in the synthetic resin core for supporting the elastically shrinkable tube when a connecting portion of an electric cable is compressed and sealed with the elastically shrinkable tube. SOLUTION: The core A is obtained by forming a synthetic resin string- shaped body 1 into a cylindrical shape successively following the circular ring and string-shaped body part 1a which is spirally wound in one turn in advance, while connecting the strings using engaging protrusions 3, 4 provided at the opposing end face, and the inner peripheral face of the connecting portion of the opposing end face is spirally fusion bonded 2 at short intervals. After inserting the connecting part of the electric cable C into the core A while supporting the elastically shrinkable tube B on the core A, the core A is released while removing the engaging protrusions 3, 4 from one end part side and disconnecting the fusion bonded part 2 to seal the connecting part.</p> |
