PURPOSE: Auxiliary brushes are provided in the front of a brush body unfolded by outer pressure to improve efficiency of the vacuum cleaner. CONSTITUTION: A brush for a vacuum cleaner comprises a brush body(10), a first auxiliary brush(20), a second auxiliary brush(30), and a pressing member(40). A support plate(5) is protruded being attached with a first rotation shaft(3) and a second rotation shaft(4) to support rotatively the first auxiliary brush and the second auxiliary brush. Guide grooves of a circular shape is formed in both sides of an air intake(1). The first and second auxiliary brushes are connected to the first and second rotation shaft hingedly. The pressing member comprises a rectangular groove(35) to receive pressing protrusions(15,25) of the first and second auxiliary brush.
