PURPOSE: A moving type cleaner control device is provided prevent damage of the belt or driving pulley by maintaining the cleaner tips at the position corresponding to the width of the belt. CONSTITUTION: A moving type cleaner control device comprises a pair of guide rails(42) arranged in a width-wise direction of a belt, directly beneath a driving pulley(10) of a belt conveyor; an operating plate(46) arranged to be movable in a horizontal direction along the guide rail; a fixed shaft(18) installed to a fixed ring(26) fixed on the top surface of the operating plate, in such a manner that the fixed shaft is rotatable in an upward direction by a tension control bolt(22); a plurality of cleaner tips(14) arranged upright at the outer surface of the fixed shaft, in such a manner that the cleaner tips contact the returning belt of the belt conveyor; and a pair of guide rolls(52) mounted on an extended frame(50) protruded from the rear surface of the operating plate, in such a manner that the guide rolls rotate, contacting both ends of the belt.
