The door, designed to open in accordion folds, has upper (8) and lower guide rails for rollers supporting the door's hinged panels. The upper rail has a curved section (9) and a switching mechanism (10) to deflect rollers alternately onto the straight and curved sections of rail to fold the panels, the distance between the ends of the straight and curved sections being equal to the widths of individual door panels. The switching mechanism operates automatically, with the moving rollers pushing it alternately to either side.
