METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

PURPOSE: To adequately form scribe lines for segmentizing a mother glass substrate into a specified shape corresponding to a glass substrate. CONSTITUTION: Each of a pair of the mother glass substrates 11 with a size corresponding to a plurality of the glass substrates each of them constituting a liquid crystal display panel is subjected to respectively specified working for respective regions to be made into the glass substrate of the respective liquid crystal display panel. Subsequently each of the mother glass substrates 11 is stuck together keeping a suitable interval with spacers 13. On each of the mother glass substrates 11, polarizing plates 14 are respectively stuck to surfaces of the regions subjected to the adequately specified working and, at the same time, dummy films 15 with thickness and shape identical to the polarizing plate are stuck to surfaces of regions not adequately subjected to the specified working. Subsequently the scribe lines are formed between the respective regions on the surface of each of the mother glass substrates.
