PORTABLE THERMOELECTRIC GENERATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator capable of prolonging an available time of portable equipment as compared with that of a prior art. SOLUTION: A portable thermoelectric generator comprises a thermoelectric material and electrodes for sandwiching the material. A low temperature side of the thermoelectric material is cooled by the heat of vaporization of liquid fuel, the vaporized fuel is brought into catalytic combustion on a high- temperature side surface of the material to supplementarily charge the portable equipment from the material, and to warm the equipment at the heat from the catalytic combustion. A thermoelectric module 1 is formed of the material and the electrodes, a catalyst 2 is arranged on an upper part of the module 1 and a heat sink 7 is arranged on a lower part. The liquid fuel is vaporized by the heat from the sink 7, and the sink 7 is simultaneously thus cooled.
